There's something about classic country music that makes it feel right at home on a line dance floor, and Alan Jackson has plenty of songs that make you want to move.
She's Got the Rhythm (And I Got the Blues) was the inspiration for this beginner choreography. I wanted to turn the music into a dance that people could learn, enjoy and come back to.
Creating a dance is about more than matching steps to a beat. It's finding a rhythm that feels good, working out how the sections connect and making sure the whole thing flows from start to finish.
This one became a 32-count, four-wall beginner dance, published in May 2026.
As I continue creating dances, I'm enjoying the variety of music that sparks an idea. Some songs are modern country, others have that familiar traditional sound, and each brings its own possibilities.
If you're an Alan Jackson fan, or simply enjoy a beginner dance set to classic country, this one's worth adding to your list.
